What a day for Mother's Day! We were able to take part in the blessing of three families as they dedicated their children to the Lord. Little JT, Sterling and baby MacKenzie are all precious in His sight. And it is our privilege to be a part of their spiritual development as their family's continue to connect here. Blessings to each! Now, I don't know if we will post it, but if we were able to send Alden's baptism to America's Funniest Home Videos, someone would be a winner! I don't think anyone will forget Pastor Bob forgetting the middle of name of his grandson at baptism. It was an instant classic! And I must say, it is truly a sweet experience to have Bob baptize his grandchildren.
These last two weeks have been amazing as we have had the opportunity to baptize seven new believers. And what is especially cool is that two were over 70, one over 50, another in his late 20's and three pre-teens. I wish that I could say there was one high light in this, but it was all amazing! Baptizing a father and son, watching a lady enter the baptistry with new hips and new knees and a bad back, and then helping a blind man into the pool. Well, just what do you say? God is indeed great! Light note...during my children's message yesterday I wanted to show this video. This is for the mom's out there. Enjoy!
