Responsive Reading - Psalm 8:1-9 (NIV) Philippians 2:8-11 (NIV)
Unison O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! L You have set your glory above the heavens. From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise. C When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, L which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. C And, being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-- even death on a cross! L Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Unison O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
