We like to try new things.
Four years ago we started an annual event we call, ‘Worship on the Water.’ It is held during the first part of June. We gather on the Rappahannock River for worship, baptisms and great fellowship. People arrive by car, kayak, canoe, wave-runners and boats.
Three years ago we began a fall gathering we call, ‘Tail-gate Sunday.’ We meet on a Sunday morning in October for worship outside. We dress in our favorite sports team attire and have church outside. Following the worship time, we gather for a picnic, games, and other activities.
Our church also enjoys traveling together. Each year a group of about 50 travel to various destinations around the country by bus. Most are from our church, but many are members of other congregations. In April of 2014, Pastor David led 29 travelers to Israel.
Fellowship is an important part of church life. We would love to see you be a part of ours.
