Ministries

Here at Beale Memorial we are actively engaged in a variety of ministries in the church and community.  We encourage every member of our church to involve themselves in some form of ministry.  To that end, we have a wide variety of ministry events planned throughout the year.

Children’s Ministry

We offer an aged graded Sunday school for children through sixth grade.  On Sunday evening’s during the school year we have a very active AWANA program.  On the third Sunday of the month, we take a group of children, youth and adults  to Richmond to feed the homeless.  Our associate Pastor has developed an age graded musical program on Wednesday nights for children through the sixth grade.  During the summer we take our children to camp at Eagle Eyrie or to a Centri-Kid event.

Youth Ministry

Our youth program is for students in seventh grade through high school.  We offer Sunday school classes for 7th and 8th graders and another for the high school.  On Sunday evenings we have a youth gathering at 5:30 until 7:00.  During the summer we have a variety of outings for the students and this includes some type of camp experience.

Adult Ministry

We have a wide variety of events for adults in our church.  There are multiple Sunday school classes, Wednesday evening Bible studies, service ministries in the community and around the state.  Every year our church sponsors a trip for the adults in the church and community.  In the past we have visited Israel, Maine, Pennsylvania and this year we are traveling to Branson, MO.

Music Ministry

Our music ministry offers a variety of different ways to express worship to God. We have preschool and elementary children’s choirs, an adult choir, praise team, and a handbell choir. Each year we prepare for a cantata either at Easter or Christmas.

Service Opportunities

Our church is actively engaged in sharing the Gospel in practical ways.  We do this in our community, across the state and around the world.  We have partnerships with churches in Ghana and Guatemala where we have provided mosquito nets, a tractor, pastoral training, church building and other service projects.  In our community we work with our schools in a variety of ways.  We also serve in our community through helping in home construction projects.   Throughout the year we collect toys to share at Christmas.  Last year over 300 children received bags of toys.
