Join us for our 2024 Connect Women’s Conference, “Walking with God”, as we delve into the art of walking closely with God, especially during challenging times. Discover the strength that comes from trusting Him in every step of your journey. Our guest speaker, Theresa Mills, will share her insights on cultivating a deeper connection with God and allowing His guidance to lead us through life’s difficulties. Experience uplifting worship led by the talented Sarah Blackwell. This conference is a unique opportunity for women of faith to come together, support one another, and learn how to strengthen your spiritual foundation and connect with a community of women seeking to grow in their walk with God.
The Connect Women’s Ministry serves to connect women of all ages, while encouraging them in their relationships with Jesus Christ in their daily lives. We are nondenominational, with the commitment to reaching women of all backgrounds. Our sponsors are Beale Memorial Baptist Church, Howertons Baptist Church, St. John Baptist Church, and Trinity United Methodist Church.

GUEST SPEAKER
Theresa Mills
Theresa Mills is an on-air radio host at WPER in Fredericksburg, Virginia mid-days from 10am- 3pm. Her positive perspective on life has given her a passion for speaking beyond the studio walls. Speaking is a gift that Theresa shares with the world. In fact, she speaks regularly at conferences, retreats, and women’s events. She also has a passion for both youth and prison ministry.
Theresa delivers a poetic honesty whenever she speaks. Her voice serves as encouragement, reassurance, and hope to thousands every day. She is remarkably open about her incredibly difficult journeys experienced in this life, but shares how God has been so good in the middle of it all. Through these things, she shares the truths that God has taught her along the way.
WORSHIP LEADER
Sarah Blackwell
Leading our Praise and Worship, for the third year is Sarah Blackwell. Sarah is the Worship Director for Grace Covenant Church in Harrisonburg, VA. Sarah believes that we were all born worshipers and that our truest identity comes when we genuinely know the Heavenly Father we worship. She believes and is thankful that JESUS has redeemed her life.
